www.MemphisAstro.org/. In this episode of Telescope Tips, Keith Latiolais and Jeremy Veldman discuss the setup of Keith's William Optics GT103 refractor telescope for imaging deep sky objects. Keith also discusses the critical importance of having a sturdy tripod, balancing and securing the mount before placing the telescope, and basic techniques for polar alignment. This episode is designed to give the beginner an introduction to astrophotography and show one example type of telescope used and the set up. Stay tuned for Part 2.
