Installing a Winfield on a 1930 Ford Model A and then Driving it!

Find out the difference between a typical carburetor and a Winfield Carburetor as Chris from Brauns Motorsports installs an updraft A Winfield on a 1930 Ford Model A, tunes it, and takes it for a drive.

We remove the original Tillotson carburetor, lay it and the Winfield out so you can see the differences, then install the Winfield on the Model A. We also give some back story on Henry Ford and Ed Winfield’s relationship and tell you what to watch out for when you install your own. Then we start up the car, tune the idle, intermediate and highspeed, and take the car out for a test drive.
