They started in 2018 with the goal of privacy-preserving data analysis using multi-party computation, but later switched to crypto and blockchain use cases. They now focus on threshold signature schemes and provide a tamper-proof, verifiable random number generator called ARPA Randcast.

Felix explains the difference between threshold signature schemes and ECDSA signatures and the benefits of using BLS signatures. They also discuss the integration of ARPA Network with EigenLayer and the advantages of restaking for economic security.
