Sam's Sibs Stick Together: The Benefits of Sibling and Future Directions

Welcome, Nicole Rosen from the University of California at Los Angeles, who is one of the first scientists to look at the impact of siblings on development across the lifespan. She recently published a paper showing the benefits of the presence of a non-diagnosed sibling in functioning in autism. She has since been funded to expand the study and would love to hear more about the interests and questions that siblings have.  

Samantha Els, daughter of Ernie Els, serves as the moderator and ambassador of Sam’s Sibs Stick Together. Through her own experiences of having a sibling with autism, she helps shine a light on the importance of sibling research and support.
