Kintaro first took aim at
Kintaro first took aim at a camera for joint research with the University of Tokyo. The research is described in a blog on the Kyoto City Zoo website (see 2023.8.16).
Then, he even started working on a trap camera for nighttime release. I think the camera has changed.
I had been praised in this month's New Gorilla Diary (76) for hardly touching it for more than a month since the night release started! And even Gentaro was a bit concerned.
I did not break the camera.
Another highlight is the scene back indoors where Kintaro is warned by his father Momotaro. Mother Genki and Kintaro protest to father Momotaro.
It is typical of Kintaro (laughs).

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.
Gentaro (eldest son), born on December 21, 2011
Momotaro and Genki's first child
Kintaro (second son) born December 19, 2018
The baby gorilla who is an idol.
