Many medical journals says spreading hogweed or punarnava is beneficial for our health.
Spreading hog weed or punarnava is a medicinal herb and a traditional ayurvedic herb that is used to rejuvenate the whole body.
"Punarnava " word itself says the meaning, it means ''renew''. It is used for many diseases. And it is growing many parts of India.
Drinking water boiled with red spiderling leaves or punarnava(Spreading Hogweed) can purify the blood.
Ingredients
2 cup finely chopped spreading hogweed leaves (Punarnava, Talutama )
1 cup coconut flakes
1 medium size onion chopped
3 green chili slitt
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt or as per taste
2 tbsp coconut oil
Step by step method
Heat coconut oil and add mustard into it
Add chopped onion and stir it well
Then add green chillies, turmeric powder, coconut flakes, Tarvine leaves and salt.
Stir it well for some time.
Add grated coconut to it agai
Cook for 5-6 minutes in low heat.
Here there is no need of water.
Serve along with rice.
