This video was created using a time lapse sequence of 4 second exposures over a period of around 30 minutes. Then slowed down in post edit.
The rest of the sky was dark. Only this northern section was lit like this. I originally thought I was seeing the tail end of the Aurora that was happening elsewhere that night. But now I guess I know different as there have been a number of photos appearing of 'Noctilucent Cloud' But Its till very rare apparently and is caused by the sun catching high altitude ice crystals and lighting them up.. Have seen lots of photos but no videos as yet.. so enjoy!
