How old do wild grizzly bears get?

For most that spent their entire careers in her home range, were lucky to catch a glimpse of her unless during a capture. This bear, # 39 was remarkable how she used populated areas, and came roadside only between the hours of 11pm to 6am, and then would spend the rest of her time in cover by rivers and lakes or in the alpine. She was so shy and elusive, and even with a GPS collar on her for two years, finding her was impossible. I studied the data and found routines and patterns that allowed me to see her briefly over the years. Her elusiveness made me come up with her nickname, "THE GHOST". I last saw in her in 2019, she was 29y/o. I didn't return to the area in 2020 and received no report if she was still alive. She was an amazing bear, truly special.
