Are you looking for a solution to copy the files from your local PC’s drive to an external USB drive? Then, this video will help you. You can easily transfer the files from one drive to another or on the USB drive. Let’s see, how you can copy the files.
1. Connect your USB drive or pen drive with your computer.
2. Open the File Explorer.
3. Open the location of your files that you want to copy on another drive.
4. Make a small size of File Explorer window, and keep it on the left side.
5. Open another File Explorer window by pressing Control+N keys on your keyboard.
6. Keep this newly open File Explorer window on the right side, and open another drive.
7. Like here, I have selected my USB drive E.
8. Select the files from the left-side window, and drag these into the right-side File Explorer window.
9. This will copy your files on another drive.
10. In another simple way, just select the files from your computer.
11. Right-click on the selected files, and from the drop-down list, click on the Copy option.
12. Go to the USB drive File explorer window, and right-click on the blank space.
13. From the drop-down list, click on the paste option, and it will copy the files from the computer to this USB drive.
14. Once you have copied the files, click on This PC.
15. Under the devices and drive section on the right side, select your external USB drive.
16. Right-click on it, and click on the Eject option from the list.
17. Now, you can safely remove your USB drive from the computer.
