Dogs are being handed into rescue homes at alarming rates as the cost of living crisis continues, with one centre reporting a 53% increase in animals they’ve taken in compared to this time last year. Dr Scott joins us to talk about why you shouldn’t commit to a pet if you aren’t financially prepared, and we’re going live to the Many Tears Rescue Centre in Wales to meet some of the pooches desperately seeking a home.
