In this video, you will learn how to use the HYSTERESIS function in CODESYS, within the CFC programming environment. HYSTERESIS is used to improve the performance of the system in the On/Off control, to prevent the actuators (like cooler, heater, etc) from turning on and off repeatedly for small fluctuations in the control variable (like room temperature, liquid level, etc.)
HYSTERESIS is a function available from the UTIL library, which by default does not come with the project and you have to add the library manually to your project.
