Swami Pavithrananda Giri was born and brought at a Natural Environment in Malaysia; He obtained a B.A. Degree in Economics as a special subject from one of the Esteemed University in Malaysia and M.A. Degree in Resource Management from Naval Academy in USA, as well as was invited to research in Resource Management by Pentagon.
He served as a Secretary in Interior Department in Malaysian Defense and was responsible for Development and Ship base construction for Malaysian Navy; He also travelled to various countries such as: England, Holland, Germany, France, USA, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Italy etc. for work.
Even though Swamiji had reached Pinnacle of his life, he was yearning for something and in 1989, he read Autobiography of a Yogi through a friend and was inspired by Guru’s teachings; In 1994, he received invitation to join MS Course at UCLA University as well as invitation from YSS to become a Sanyasi; he chose the latter and joined the path of YSS in 94, and become a swami in the year 2016, fully engaged in spreading the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda,
All over India through book releases and trainings of saints at YSS Ashrams in India.
