James Dean starred in three iconic films in his short career, but it’s his character in Rebel Without a Cause that came to define him. The film starred Dean alongside Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo, but sadly all three of them had their careers cut short by tragedy. Dean famously died in a car accident when he was just 24, and Wood’s drowning death continues to raise questions to this day, but not as many people know about the horrifying murder of Sal Mineo.
