In this reinforcement learning and OpenAI tutorial, we provide an introduction to Atari Game OpenAI Gym environment. In particular, we cover the Breakout Atari game. We explain how to run the game from a Python script and how to extract the necessary information for developing reinforcement learning algorithms. In the next video tutorial, we explain how to use this environment to test and develop a deep Q network based on a convolutional neural network.
