(G-TAWK) *TRIP REPORT!* | TUI UK Boeing 737-800 | Antalya to Birmingham

Thank you for clicking on this video! My flight onboard G-TAWK was certainly a great one, due to the beautiful scenery seen throughout the flight! Boarding started around 30 minutes behind schedule, and once it was complete, we were informed by our captain (who was in fact Australian) that we would have to remain on the ground for an extra 30 minutes due to an issue with ATC at Antalya. However, out of nowhere, pushback started 5 minutes later (hence why the start of the pushback wasn’t recorded). After taxiing to Runway 18L, we powered off into the sky and over the city of Antalya, which has some incredible views! After reaching our cruising altitude, the Cabin Crew Manager told us that there was a shortage of food due to most of it being purchased on the outbound flight (greedy buggers!). The cabin was also extremely filthy, which seems to be a trend with many TUI aircraft unfortunately. A couple of hours later, we began our descent into Birmingham, where we would be landing on the northernly Runway 15. The descent also offered some breathtaking views of the city of Birmingham, before our speedy landing, that was filmed by TRANSPORT GUY from outside! Overall, another satisfactory experience with TUI and I am looking forward to my next adventure with them!
