Luis Miguel - La Incondicional (Music Video)

"La unconditional" is a ballad written, produced and arranged by the Spanish composer Juan Carlos Calderón and performed by the Mexican singer Luis Miguel. It was released on February 20, 1989 as the third single from his sixth studio album, Busca una mujer (1988) and became his second # 1 single on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart after "Now You Can Go" on 1987. The song broke several radio records in Latin America reaching the top of the charts in Mexico (where it became the biggest hit of the year), Argentina, Peru and Chile, among many other countries. The success of the song helped to take the album to # 4 on the Billboard Latin Pop albums with sales of approximately three million units.

"La unconditional" won the Pop Song of the Year at the Premios Lo Nuestro in 1990. In 2008, VH1 Latin America broadcast the program titled The 100 Best Songs of the 80s in Spanish, which declared "La unconditional" as the # 1. There is a version of the song in Portuguese interpreted by Luis Miguel himself and one in Cantonese interpreted by Sally Yeh.
