Immerse yourself in the world of macrame knots and discover a creative journey that appeals to all your senses. With every knot and every thread, not only unique works of art are created, but also moments of relaxation and mindfulness. Get inspired by the Unalome symbol and create a custom piece that reflects your personality and creativity.
Of course you can change the colors and adapt them to your favorite colors and your living style.
With my step-by-step instructions you can easily make the Unalome Lotus wall hanging yourself. You don't need any previous experience, just some time and materials. All nodes used are shown to you with clear graphics. Pause the video to better memorize individual images. This way you can learn every knot very easily.
You can find the exact material requirements at the beginning of the video. The wall hanging is 21 x 64 cm (excluding branch).
I used the following nodes in this project:
o Anchor nodes
o Diagonal mast throw
o Square knot

The Unalome symbol has its origins in Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply meaningful. It represents the spiritual path to enlightenment and is often found in religious art, tattoos and jewelry. The symbol often begins with a spiral or curved path, representing the path of life with all its confusions and challenges. It then becomes increasingly straighter, symbolizing the path to clarity and enlightenment. At the top it often ends with a dot or lotus flower, symbolizing the achievement of the highest state of consciousness.
