Something out of the ordinary but a challenge worth wild... I walked -- somewhat! -- the Baltimore Metro Subway line from top-to-bottom. A long feat of endurance yet an eye-opening experience to really see the corridor this subway line services on a daily basis. Ever since the metro's opening in 1983, traveling between the city centre and northwest Baltimore has made life easier for many patrons alike. But, one of the everlasting realities we all endure with the subway is that this is only a shell of what was suppose to have been. So much potential left by waist-side either by political unwillingness; simple NiMBY-ism... or just a lack funding in-general to propel this system to new heights. The most obvious of challenges MTA has to face annually with the metro is trying to maintain it's good stature...  ... a prolonging battle they continue lose year-in and year-out. From water leaks to cracks forming on the pillars to it's overall dull, unwelcoming atmosphere, the Baltimore Metro Subway is quite possibly the most uninteresting rapid transit line in the country. Our stations... hell, most of the line's infrastructure is falling apart ever so gradually with no reliable backup to look forward to. Politics will always find a way to make excuses for why a sustainable budget is never in the forefront to fix these issues but you can't be oblivious to the mistreatment the subway endures; and even the patrons themselves, because many rely on this service daily.

In case you're curious as to why you don't see much content on this channel of the Baltimore Metro Subway... well... here's the obvious proof. It's just a decaying disgrace that I am not amuse to showcase. No glamour; a lack of care nor concern of the warning signs that our subway is in need of an overhaul; and the pushback by our government to address these issues. With that being said... the metro subway still has a job to do and will continue to do so with or without government assistance. The metro subway has become a lasting symbol of Maryland's ability to engineer a mobile work-of-art whilst solving many of issues for the public that -- without it -- would have left the few in adverse circumstances... Maybe I'm being a-bit too on-the-nose but needless to say, the subway has respectfully served the public and it deserves to receive such respect but our leaders keep it sustainable for the future.

I'm giving a shout out to Reece from RMTransit as this was his idea to see rapid transit in a new light.
