Sky News host Andrew Bolt says former US president Donald Trump's social media venture deal will make his haters “choke”.
The former US president's net worth jumped to $US6.4 billion on Monday (local time) following the merger between Digital World Acquisition Corp and Trump Media & Technology Group Corp was finalised.
Trump for the first time joined the list of the world's 500 wealthiest people on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index following the news.
“That will really make his haters choke,” Mr Bolt said.
“I mean the Democrats were thinking to punish him, knock him out of the race, bankrupt him, do anything and suddenly he's richer than ever,” he said.
