4 examples on how to get our inspiration started, and how you can pull good ideas out of your head and turn them into reality.
Abstract painting is demanding but rewarding and developing for the mind. See how you can be proactive about getting ideas and do many things to find them and start your inspiration.
Ideas for abstract paintings can be found everywhere around us. Just open your eyes and look for them.
Painting abstract paintings is - in my opinion - a little more demanding mentally, than painting figurative paintings, because you don't have anything concrete to work from. What to paint on the canvas must mainly be found inside your head.
In this video I explain my process in four of my paintings and show you how I got the inspiration and ideas to paint them. There are many ways to find inspiration, and this does not only apply to paintings. Sometimes, you are lucky and get an idea as a gift , but mostly you have to work hard to conceive your ideas.
Finally, it's not over now that you have the idea, you still need to get it out through your arm and brush before it can be used for anything.
