Robert Clive1757 to 1760 A.D.

*1742 AD. In Rowart Clive of the East India Companya clerk was admitted asbuton its ability to force Rowart Clive 1751 AD. of the English army in Captain And 1757 AD. of Bengal Rowart Clive Governor was built|
* The credit of establishing British power in India is given to Robert Clive.
* Thethe Plassey War on 23 June 1757, British Army was led by Robert Clive inand from this war, the British had stepped on the first step of their rule in India. The Battle of Plassey took place between Nawab Siraj-Daula of Bengal and Robert Clive, the Governor of the East India Company in Bengal, in which Siraj-daula was defeated in this war because his commander Mir Jaffer and Dewan Rare Rai had betrayed him.  
* In1759 AD, the Battle of Vedra (in Bengal) was fought between Robert Clive and the Dutch, in which Robert Clive won and the fall of Dutch was started by this war.
* In February 1760, due to some health reasons, Robert Clive went back to England.

Vensittart 1760 - 1765 AD

* In 1760 AD, 'Vansittartarrived as the new Governor of Bengal, but the Nawab of Bengal Mir Jafar did not welcome him, which angered Vansittart. Vensittart removed Mir Jaffer and made his son-in-law '' theMir Qasimnew Nawab of Bengal.
* In1763 AD , on the orders of Mir Qasim, one of his German officers ''Samrukilled many British officers and Indian landlords in'' in Indian history.PatnaPatna massacre, which is known asFearing this massacre, Mir Qasim took refuge with Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula of Awadh. At the same time, Vensittart made Mir Jaffer from Dowara the Nawab of Bengal. This massacre laid the foundation of the battle of Buxar.
* Mir Qasim, Nawab Shuja-ud-daulah of Awadh and Shah Alam II, the ruler of Delhi, formed a joint army and declared war against Nawab Mir Jaffer of Bengal and the British Governor of Bengal, Vensittart. Vensittart formed an army with Mir Jaffer, commander of Hector Munro. On 22–23 October 1764, the Battle of Buxar took place in which the British won. The British governor of Bengal was Vensittart during the Buxar War. After this war, the real power of Bengal had reached the hands of the East India Company.

Robert Clive - 1765 to 1767 AD

* In 1765, Robert Clive was made Governor of Bengal from Dowara and Chairman of the Select Committee of Calcutta.
* Mir Jaffer died in 1765 AD and Robert Clive made his son Najm-ud-daula the Nawab of Bengal but retained all the rights. In this way,Bengal. duplex rule (dual rule) was established inIn which the work of the Nawab was to rule only in Bengal and the work of the East India Company was to look after the revenue settling, Saina work and foreign affairs. This has been called the dual rule in history, which was firstBengal implemented in.
*August 12, 1765 e. The Rowart Clive and Delhi Mughal Emperorbetween  Shah Alam II the first treatyAllahabad was| By this treaty, Robert Clive was given the pleasure of Vihar and Orissa and thus the system of diarchy was established from Bengal to Vihar and Orissa as well.
*August 16, 1765 e. The Rowart Clive and the Nawab of Oudhbetween  Shuja-ud-Daula second treatyAllahabad was| By this treaty, Robert Clive gained the right to free trade in Awadh and to keep the English army.  
* In 1765, Robert Clive signed a pledge from all officers and soldiers to prevent corruption in the East India Company. Due to which the soldiers protested, which'' in history.white-rebellionis known asMost of the East India Company soldiers resigned. Robert Clive accepted the resignation of all and immediately summoned new soldiers from Madras. Robert Clive set up'' for military reform,Clive - Fundan organization called,so that soldiers could get some pension after retirement.
* Robert Clive went back to England in 1767 AD, and 2 November 1774 AD. was assassinated by Robert Clive on

Barelast or Balsart 1767 - 1769 AD
* In 1767 AD, Barelast or Balsart was made the Governor of Bengal. During this time, the First Mysore Warfought was. Barelast went back to England in 1769 AD.
Cartier 1769 - 1772 AD

* Cartier was made governor of Bengal in 1769 AD. During the time of Cartier, therea severe famine in Bengal in 1770 AD. was
* Cartier's reign ended in 1772 AD and was replaced by Warren Hastings as governor.
