The video explains the density of states for photons. # light matter interaction. An expression has also been derived for the same. After watching u would be able to answer following questions. Assignment 1. Define DOS for PHOTONS. 2. Why has the factor of 1/8 been introduced? 3. The volume of the sphere has been assumed to give an idea about the number density of photons. Comment. 4.
