Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 from Cheyenne to Nebraska - 5 August 2021

Big Boy is Back! We caught up with Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 No. 4014 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at about 8 a.m. on 5 August 2021 as it threaded its way through the massive UP yards heading east to Nebraska. Interesting consist, with some hoppers and a caboose bringing up the rear. Great run-by at the grade crossing near Egbert, Wyoming, plus a stop at Pine Bluffs where maintenance and lubrication were undertaken. Then we got the behemoth entering Kimball, Nebraska, and departing about 45 minutes later. Like the video?
