The Rock and Mankind have became legends in wrestling. Back in the WWF Attitude Era, both men would gain huge popularity as the WWE presented a more contemporary product. Mankind, portrayed by Mick Foley, would feud with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson through late 1998 into early 1999.
After matches at Survivor Series 1998, Rock Bottom: In Your House and a match on the first Raw is War episode on 1999 which saw Mankind defeat The Rock for the WWF Championship, the two men walked into Royal Rumble 1999 to face off in an I Quit match. The match would end up historic, but for all the wrong reasons.
