Gibson recently released the ’Theodore’, a brand new design, with 65 years of pedigree!
Former Gibson President Ted McCarty is responsible for some of the most iconic instrument designs in music history. Under his leadership, Gibson reached the peaks of their first ‘Golden Age’, revered by guitarists of all generations for its diverse and sophisticated appeal, premium quality and for birthing a range of instruments, producing truly unattainable and inimitable tone.
Gibson have decided to share with us an extra slice of the pie from that golden period, featuring a design penned by the late man himself, and offered up as his namesake. 65 years later, from nothing more than a sketchbook and a few notes, the Theodore is born!
