Today I add some Go Fast parts to my 2016 Nismo 370Z!!
This is the installation of the AAM Cold Air Intake for the 370Z!
Honestly it was a simple installation and will take 2-3 hours. Bumper removal was straight forward and came off nicely. Taking the stock air intake out was simple. I had to play around a little bit with the cutting of the duct openings for the best fitment.
The install of the new CAI went pretty well. The portion of the pipe where the MAF Sensor plugs in, was slightly oval shaped (by like 2mm). So I had to pinch it in the vice and use a rubber mallet to insert the spacers. Don't know how easy they will come out if the time comes. But overall fitment looks great and it went together as planned.
I did put the tubes in the front bumper in the opposite way compared to the instructions. It just seemed to fit better that way.
Overall I really like the product and so many people have good things to say about true cold air intakes for the Z. Don't waste the money on a short ram intake since it will just suck in hot air. I like how the AAM Brand is tunable with those spacers. So if I tune the car, I can get even that much more power out of it. As long as I can remove that spacer lol
After a week or so I'll get on the car a bit to see if there is a noticeable difference, and of course make more vids about it!
