Dai Sankyo is one of
Dai Sankyo is one of the best-known techniques in Aikido. An interesting fact is that one of the oldest images of Pancration, a Greek martial art, is a statue of a fighter applying Sankyo to his opponent. In this video, I explore this waza with Ushiro Ryote Tori's attack.
There are countless ways to apply it, here I demonstrate, which in my view, is the basic form and some possible variations that I use in my practice.
