In this video I take you through the restoration of my 3 wheel bandsaw, a Burgess BK3 Plus, this is very similar to the Burgess BBS20, this saw is about 40 years old and was in terrible condition when I received it and I wasn't sure I'd keep it in my workshop, but having set it up properly, cleaned it and replaced the failing parts and 3D printed some bits I've got it back up to a good working order, it seems to cut straight and true so will become a valuable machine tool in my wood workshop.

This saw - or one very similar - was also produced by Record Power Tools and similar designs can be found by Clarke, Rexon, Craftsman, Powerline (who I think took over the Burgess line - at least they have the same model numbers), Delta etc.

The plastic parts had perished so I designed and 3D  printed new ones, on my Crality CR10S 3D Printer using PLA, modernising and updating the saw.

They should also fit the Burgess BBS-20, Powerline BBS-20 and others
Blade Guard
Tracking Knob
Blade guide knobs (x2)
Blade tensioning knob
Zero clearance insert
Fence knob

I also replaced the clips that hold the front plate in place with 'nut and bolt' knobs in the same style as the other knobs so that it all looks consistent - these are a much better solution than the clips it came with.

Finally I swapped one of the worn pulleys, set-up the tracking correctly, made the mitre gauge fit and fixed the wobbly bed.

Links to all the 3D parts can be found here  on thingiverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/simontele...

The bandsaw is now thoroughly updated, keep a look out for some new mods/updates coming to this saw soon!
