The Pontipines count up to five. The Pontipines go for a very long walk around the garden. As they pass by Upsy Daisy’s bed, the children suddenly disappear. Mr and Mrs Pontipine look through the binoculars and find them asleep in Upsy Daisy’s bed. Only Upsy Daisy is allowed to sleep in Upsy Daisy’s bed – and here she comes! Wake up Pontipines! In The Night Garden… is about a magical picture-book place that exists between waking and sleeping in a child’s imagination. Reached by following a magical little blue star, the Night Garden is a warm and affectionate world which is home to a comical and diverse community of toys, living happily together and who care for each other unconditionally.
