Ground Hornbills Seen Calling in the Mara

This morning's sunrise drive in the Mara yielded an incredibly special sighting of two southern ground hornbills calling to each other. David listened in awe recalling how in his village, a ground hornbill's call was a sure sign of rain to come. We think they almost sound like wooden flutes!
