The meaning behind my channel name and celtic folklore about the hare!


Old Scots transformation incantation:
"I sall goe intill ane haire,
With sorrow and sych and meikle caire,
and i shall goe in the divellis nam,
ay whill i com hom againe."


English:
"I will go into a hare,
With sorrow and sigh and much care,
And I shall go in the Devil's name,
A while I come home again."


To return:
"Hare, hare, God send thee care.
I am in a hare's likeness just now,
But I shall be in a woman's likeness even now."
