The mother-daughter duo visited Atelier Jolie, a luxury beauty salon owned by the actress, in the trendy NoHo neighborhood. They both looked stylish and cozy in their winter outfits, accessorized with sunglasses, earrings, and bags.
Zahara, 18, is a freshman at Spelman College, a prestigious historically Black women’s college in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the Mu Pi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the oldest sorority for African American women, founded in 1908 at Howard University. Zahara’s decision to change her name from Jolie-Pitt to Jolie came amid her parents’ bitter divorce and custody battle, which has been going on for seven years.
Angelina and Brad split in 2016, after an alleged incident on a private plane, where Brad reportedly got physical with one of their six children. Angelina claimed that Brad choked and struck another child, and that they felt like hostages until they landed. The couple was granted joint custody in May 2021, but the ruling was overturned a month later. Brad has expressed his pride and support for Zahara’s education, despite not being involved in her college life.
