Engwe L20 review: Cheap Utility E-Bike

The new Engwe L20 is a cheap utility e-bike that features 20" x 4" fat tyres, a step-through frame and front and rear racks. The 48v 250w motor feels a lot more powerful than the rating suggests which makes it particularly good for hills. It's comfortable and would make a great commuter e-bike or for running errands like shopping.  The claimed range of 100 km (62 miles) seems optimistic, but it should easily return 35-40 miles for the average rider.
