Better Airflow and Better Performance. The BBK Mass Air Meter is an essential mod that is tuned to work with 24 lb. fuel injectors and an aftermarket cold air intake. The BBK Mass Air Meter will also eliminate ‘pegging’ or ‘saturating’ the mass air flow meter, resulting in a power hike of up to 15 rear wheel horsepower with a simple bolt-on install. If you are looking to squeeze out every last ounce of performance from your Fox Mustang, then you should consider upgrading the factory MAF to the BBK Mass Air Meter. Lightweight Construction. The BBK Mass Air Meter is constructed from lightweight billet aluminum. The stock MAF is only 55mm with a weak flow of 550 cfm. But the BBK Mass Air Meter is 76mm and is capable of a stronger airflow of up to 700 cfm. The mass air sensor is included in this kit.
Easy Bolt-on Installation. The BBK Mass Air Meter is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory unit in your 1986 to 1993 Mustang. The process is nothing more than unplugging the mass air flow, disconnecting the MAF from the intake, loosening a few clamps and removing a couple of bolts to remove the stock mass air meter, and swapping in the BBK Mass Air Meter. You only need a few simple hand tools to complete the install in under an hour.
