❤️ Hello friends, in our quest for the Best Punjabi Food In Mumbai and to have some really good Butter Chicken we visited Kake Da Hotel, Mumbai. Situated in Malad West this is a franchise of the famous Kake Da Hotel in Delhi. Being one of my favourite eating places in Delhi I was longing to have some of my favourite dishes.
This is a small cozy place and the staff is very warm and friendly.
On Chef Sanjay's recommendation we tried the saag meat, the dahiwala chicken and everybody's favourite the butter chicken.
We were served the Barra Murg as a starter and the dish had the flavour and aroma of a coal tandoor. The chicken was fresh and juicy and was mildly spiced. So our beginning was really good.
Moving on to the main course my favourite was the saag meat. The mutton was fresh and tender and cooked to perfection. The crisp tandoori rotis were just the right accompaniment. The dahi wala chicken was not to my taste. I would recommend the dahi wala meat instead. And now coming to the butter chicken, it was just awesome. Very different from what we are usually served in Mumbai. Creamy, buttery and also had the addition of khoya I think that made it richer and tastier. The butter chicken went very well with the mirchi ka parotha and butter naan.
To end the meal we had some chilled butter milk that settled things down😊
So friends in search of authentic North Indian food, do try Kake da hotel. They have 4 outlets in Mumbai and you can go to the one that is
closest to you.
The cost for 2 is INR 1000/- Approx.
