CERT at UCLA – Disaster Response Training

The Office of Emergency Management offers free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes throughout the year to all UCLA students, staff & faculty. This 24-hour class will educate you about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact your area and trains you in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Once graduated, CERT members have the option to volunteer and respond to disasters affecting the UCLA community or their neighborhood at home.
