Seven Sisters 60 km entering the camp of the Chinese Army | Clmxn News Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops reportedly entered the Kapapu area of Anjaw district in Arunachal Pradesh, India, encamping within 60 km of the "Seven Sisters" region. Local media outlets like NewsFi and reports from The Donlitpost indicated signs of their presence, such as forest fires, Chinese inscriptions on rocks, and discarded Chinese food products, suggesting they stayed for a few days before departing. A photograph showing the year "2024" written in English on a stone was found, a tactic allegedly used by the Chinese army to assert territorial claims. An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp is located near Hadigra Pass on the McMahon Line, the de facto border between India and China. The nearest administrative area, Chaglagam, is about 90 km from the McMahon Line, while Glaitakaru Pass is approximately 80 km from Chaglagam. Arunachal State Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul confirmed local reports of the incursion. However, a senior Indian army officer, speaking anonymously, denied any intentional infiltration, attributing such incidents to poorly marked boundaries where soldiers might inadvertently cross into each other's territories during patrols. He stated that claims of PLA troops penetrating 60 km into Indian territory were false. Previously, in August 2022, PLA troops were reported to have supervised infrastructure construction near Hadigra Lake, less than 30 km from Chaglagam. In 2021, the Chinese military was reportedly constructing a second cluster of at least 60 buildings in Arunachal Pradesh, highlighting ongoing tensions and border disputes between the two countries. #ClmxnNews #SevenSisters #ChineseArmy
