To be hired at the USPS, you must successfully pass one of the following exams (the exam is dependent upon the position for which you are applying): USPS postal exam 474/475/476/477.
These exams replace the former Postal exam 473, which is no longer in use.
Practicing for this assessment is essential since according to the US Postal Service, 80-90% of candidates usually fail it. And once you fail, you get a chance to retake it only after 12 months!
