[9th R151 to Debut on NSL] SMRT Trains - Alstom R151 [843/844] [Sembawang → Woodlands]

This video features an Alstom Movia R151, 843/844, which is from UPD to serve NSL for the PM Rush Hours, from NS11 Sembawang to NS9 Woodlands.

843/844 would first make its way back into UPD when it was selected from TWD to do EWL Saturday Full Day Run 313 on 13/7/2024. Run 313 on Saturdays is scheduled to return the train back into UPD late at night after running for the whole day on EWL.

Instead of heading back out to do EWL Service unlike the last few R151s that got into UPD, this R151 trainset alongside another one (847/848) stayed in UPD for 2 days before being deployed to run on NSL for the Weekday PM Rush Hours! Even better, both of them managed to run on NSL from the UPD PM Dispatch as well!

This was the 2nd one to be deployed from UPD, which would also return the train back into BSD by doing the last train to Ang Mo Kio Northbound Tonight (together with 815/816 that got deployed from BSD to do Last Train to Toa Payoh Tonight as well).

Good to see newer R151s gradually coming onto NSL since NSL was confined to just 813/814, 815/816, 831/832 and 839/840 for a while now.

843/844 is also the 9th R151 to Debut on the North-South Line, right after 847/848 made its NSL debut on the same day! Not bad to see double R151s (new sets) debuting on NSL too!
