The Riggory of Drag Race Season 9

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9....the first season of the VH1 era, with giant shoes to fill after the roaring success of All Stars 2. It came in with a bang, and to this day we're still talking about some of its most iconic moments. Valentina's Maskgate and not knowing the words to Greedy, Charlie Hides "lip syncing" to "I Wanna Go," Sasha's rose petal reveal in the finale which knocked frontrunner Shea Coulee out of the running. So many fights from Aja reading Valentina, Nina and Shea's frenemy relationship, and the long-standing rivalry between Trinity and Eureka. This season is filled with so many iconic moments, and we're going to discuss them all.

But just how rigged is Season 9? It doesn't come up in the discussions about the most rigged seasons, but it definitely has some moments we can dissect and talk about, which is exactly what we're going to do today.
