Here is my Fjallraven Jacket
Here is my Fjallraven Jacket review. I'm on the hunt for the best outdoor jacket to use in milder conditions that is hard wearing and weather proof. I need a trekking jacket that can be used for hiking, backpacking and general outdoors use.
The Fjallraven Skogso jacket, Fjallraven Kaipak jacket and Fjallraven Vidda Pro jacket are all un-insulated jackets meaning it is up to you how you want to layer up to the conditions. All jackets are reasonably large for the size. I am 172cm / 70kg and wear a size small.
These Fjallraven jackets use the legendary G1000 fabric. There a few difference variations of the G-1000 fabric including, G1000 Original, G1000 Lite and G1000 Eco.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Hip-length outdoors jacket that is slightly longer in the back and has a fixed, adjustable hood. Just as comfortable trekking as it is when biking to and from work. It provides protection from the wind and light rain showers while also offering good ventilation, which means that you will not become as sweaty as you would when wearing a fully waterproof garment. It is made from G-1000 Lite and has G-1000 Original on the shoulders. Two vertical breast pockets and two side pockets, all of which are hidden behind flaps. Two-way zipper in the front hidden behind a protective flap that has push buttons at the hem, in the middle of the chest and at the chin. Adjustable hem and push buttons at the sleeve cuffs.

Kaipak Jacket is designed to work just as well on the trail as for everyday use. Fjällräven’s hardwearing G-1000 Eco resists wind and brief showers and underarm stretch panels give you excellent freedom of movement. The jacket also ventilates out moisture efficiently, which makes for a drier experience during intense treks. Three zippered pockets and one inside pocket – perfect for things needed close at hand.

Vidda Pro Jacket has been designed in the same spirit as Vidda/Barents Pro trousers, and with its robust features and durable G-1000 Eco it is perfect for trekking, bushcraft and other demanding outdoor activities, all year round. It has a generous, adjustable hood and no less than eight practical pockets. Smart gear loops in the front pockets let you attach a knife, gloves or other equipment close at hand.
