How to Pluck a Poodles Ear

In this video, I demonstrate how I pluck  my standard poodles ear. You can use ear powder for grip. You can use your fingers or a hemostat to pluck the hair, if the hair is in so tight you should not pluck it, it will hurt the dog and cause damage to the ear canal.
Note: Not all dogs need their ears plucked. Check with your veterinarian to advise you. I only pluck curly coated dogs where the hair curls back into the ear canal. You can also comb out the hair straight every 2nd or 3rd day. If the dog has straight hair in the canal it does not need to be plucked. Plucking can cause damage to the follicles and cause ear infections and or redness. Please use caution.  #LoveofPets
