Curing high-temp PJ1 exhaust flat-black paint with a heat gun! Will that work?

Curing 1500 degree PJ1 high-temp exhaust pipe paint with a heat gun, so it will be mostly cured before installation on the VFR750 project. This way, it resists hand grease, scratches and chips. Will this work? Watch and see!
