Best leveling / calibrated tamper under $50 - Is the Normcore V4 worth it?

There are less expensive options but I think it's worth paying the premium for the Normcore V4 due to higher overall quality and thinner / slightly wider base resulting in cleaner tamps.  Would be nice if Normcore included both rippled and non-rippled bases with each unit (in addition to 3 springs).  I ultimately kept the rippled base as it seemed to fit my basket better, leaving cleaner tamps, but I'd give both a try and see which one works best for you.  Tampers with taller bases such as Wittolins, IKAPE, PUSEE, etc. may be problematic to get a level tamp unless you normally underfill your basket to allow room for a puck screen, in which case the height of those taller bases may not be an issue.
