Severn Valley Railway Goods Gala 2018

Old meets new, as we compare goods traffic 100 years apart to celebrate the 100th birthday of GWR 2-8-0 2857. The locomotive is featured on the SVR's Great Western freight train, while GBRf Class 66, 66763 Severn Valley Railway operated a more modern freight.

Passenger services over the weekend were handled by 34027 Taw Valley, 7802 Bradley Manor, 1501 (no footage unfortunately), 7714 and a class 33 and 73 (also from GBRf).
