There are 8 different bits. TMR0ON bit , if it is zero then Timer is off and if it is 1 then timer is on and its counting. second bit of T08bit , This bit decides the 8 or 16-bit mode of timer0. third bit is T0CS, this bit is responsible to decide the source of clock either it is going to be internal or external . fourth bit is T0SE which is responsible to select the edge of source at which timer will count .
