You don’t want to run a schedule flow forever. In most cases, you have a stop date in mind.
In this video, I shared a Use Case on how I was able to Automatically turn off my Scheduled flow in Power Automate.
Use Case:
I often send an email reminder to every registered community member for new episodes of Microsoft Power Night. Microsoft Power Night is a bi-monthly event where we build a consumable business solution by leveraging Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 Apps and Services.
The objective is to co-learn, co-build, and co-share together.
I often set a Scheduled Cloud Flow to remind the members every 3 days about the forthcoming episodes. This flow has been very helpful as community members get informed and aware of the details of the forthcoming episodes early enough as well as get reminded frequently.
However, flows like this are not useful after the event has ended as there is no need to send an email reminder for an event that has been concluded.
This is where we get to ask the question “How do I get to turn off my scheduled flow automatically?”
