Not My Kid: Teen Vaping Epidemic

The teen vaping epidemic keeps getting worse. More than one in four high schoolers and one in 10 middle schoolers are vaping. Yet, there’s a gap between what parents believe about their kids’ e-cigarette use and this reality. Our narrator, a teenage boy walking down the street, describes the type of kids most parents assume would vape, cutting to visuals of teens vaping on the school bus, at sports practice, and in school hallways and bathrooms. The American Cancer Society challenges parents to consider whether their kid may be vaping, because it’s not your kid, until it’s your kid.
