- Onion 1 large
- Salt to taste,
- Ajwain / Carom seeds 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Besan / Gram flour 4 tbsp (or as required to make a bhajiya
batter) Oil for deep frying bhajiya.
Additionally, deep fry a couple of green chillies and sprinkle salt on them. Be sure to vertically slit them before frying so that the moisture does not burst them while frying.
Enjoi this mumbai street food during the monsoon and side it with Masala Chai
