In this video, I show how to grow sugarcane. Growing sugarcane is easy to do. The sugarcane nodes are where the sugarcane forms.The nodes need to be planted 4 to 5 inches deep during the fall. This will keep them in dormancy. November is a great time to plant sugarcane, especially in the south. You can plant in ground, raised beds, or in containers. The plant the canes in Black Cow manure. The sugarcane plant will continue to produce more sugarcane for years. Placing the nodes in water can help produce roots. This process can take up to 2 or 3 weeks.
